My Découpage

I find that in Italy there is not a lot of fantasy in modern interior decoration although the old stuff is so so beautiful. This picture ofcourse was painted by Murillo, who was Spanish, but anyway Mediterranean. I love these rich colours. This plate actually is not quite finished. I'll be adding a gold circle around the picture and another one around the edge of the plate.
This plate is darker than it looks here. It was my first attempt at doing something bigger and I'm quite pleased with it.
I just love this picture of an Italian Country House and have used it also on boxes.
